    The University of Bolton’s Games Design course is where I found a passion for game development, from the research to the challenging puzzles of level design.

    During my time at the University not only did I meet like-minded people, some of whom have become close friends, the lecturers were also welcoming and always happy to help with whatever challenge I'd throw at them. Thanks to the University of Bolton, I have been able to build the skills necessary to get my start in the games industry as a narrative designer at Cloud Imperium. For this I am very grateful to the University and all the past and current lectures who helped me along the way.

    While learning about the various areas within game art, I found that I had a passion and love for creating stylized characters. Not only did I learn skills and techniques during my studies, but I was also given the opportunity to become a PASS Mentor and was able provide support to my fellow students.

    In my own opinion, I found University of Bolton to be a great place to learn and discovered new things about myself. But the support from the lecturers was truly amazing, as they always prioritize students first and give them enough time as needed. They made sure to provide honest feedback which can help students to improve and grow over time. I can say that thanks to the lecturers, the Game Art course and MA, it had helped me to start my career as a Junior Character Artist at 10:10 Games.“

    As a recent graduate from the University of Bolton, I can truly say that I had an amazing time studying at the University. I have learned many techniques throughout my studies which made me confident and industry ready; I was able to explore many ideas and create environments that I was passionate about.

    University of Bolton prioritizes all students and provides a great atmosphere allowing

    everyone to expand their knowledge in games art. The small classroom sizes and

    experienced lecturers allow the students to get regular supportive feedback which helps in

    their growth as an 3D artist. Hence why in my opinion University of Bolton is a great place to

    learn, and has propelled me to my career now at Lucid Games.
